I doubt anyone is trying the same,
full cygwin installation is > 10Gb
(only full texlive packages are ~ 1Gb and the
post installation script is very slow)

Best is to install only what you need

I suggest you to install as start only Base categories,
check that it works and to add later only the thing you really need.

You will save a lot of time.
