Expect a 1.7.13 release really soon now. Cygwin 1.7.12-1 on W7 in both cmd and mintty consoles ls -og /dev does not show com1, but $ ls -og /dev/com1 /dev/ttyS0 crw-rw-rw- 1 117, 0 2012-04-04 12:06:40 /dev/com1 crw-rw-rw- 1 117, 0 2012-04-04 12:06:40 /dev/ttyS0 Is this as expected? (I note that http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using-specialnames.html#pathnames-posixdevices says to use /dev/ttyS0 instead of /dev/com1. So I'm not asking that anything be done) - Barry Disclaimer: Statements made herein are not made on behalf of NIAID.
