Under Cygwin.bat console (with "bash --login -i"): % man tr ... hit space a few times (5 times in my case) unless you obtain "(END)" then 'q' to exit the program. The /usr/bin/man exits but the prompt does not appear again and the shell is stuck. I had to return to snapshot 20120314, sorry.
