When a fork fails with the following message: 0 [main] cmake 5088 child_info_fork::abort: address space needed by 'cyggcc_s-1.dll' (E20A0000) is already occupied ALL user processes except for mintty, even those in other terminal windows, are "Stopped" (prefixed with "S" in ps) and do not respond to Ctrl-C or the like. A new terminal can be started, but then all fork() calls fail with: 0 [main] sh 4680 fork: child -1 - forked process died unexpectedly, retry 10, exit code -1073741819, errno 11 Currently-running services do not seem to be affected.
