This is a security update for the backwards-compatibility 1.0.x version of this library. This DLL, cygpng10.dll, is now officially obsolete and there will be no further updates -- not even to resolve security issues. No application in the cygwin distribution uses this DLL -- and user applications have had ten years to adapt to the 1.2.x API (and the 1.4.x API has actually been available for over 18 months). [[ compiled using gcc-4.3.4-4 ]] CHANGES (since 1.0.43-1 ======================== o update to latest official release of libpng-1.0.x o built using gcc4 o still using the non-autotools-driven build process o updated hint files for new dependencies (libgcc1) -- Charles Wilson volunteer libpng maintainer for cygwin ==================================================================== To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions. *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
