This is for early feedback for the new perl and to build dependent packages. There will be no binary ABI changes with the official release, but I'm still working in the automatic rebase when building new CPAN packages. I'm for the next two weeks on a business trip and not easily reachable. But someone requested this early test release, for UNICODE work. I'm not sure if packaging is kosher at all. vendor_perl is missing mkdir -p /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14/i686-cygwin/auto and perlrebase should be run. Runtime requirements: (versions given or later) libgdbm4 libdb4.5 crypt libexpat1 libbz2_1 libssp0 libgcc1 Non-base build requirements: (versions given or later) gcc-4.x libbz2-devel zlib-1.2.x binutils make libgdbm-devel libdb4.5-devel libexpat-devel ======================================================================== To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page.
