Sometimes, when I switch from cygwin-x-xterm to another Windows application and return to xterm, Alt-K displays an accented e on the terminal instead of clearing the screen, as expected. If Iright-click the top of the cygwin-x-xterm window and type Alt-K, the screen is cleared. How can I make Alt-K work 100% of the time in cygwin-x-term? Many thanks.
