Or search the mailing list. > http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using-effectively.html#using-console I have a nice setup now with Console2: https://sourceforge.net/projects/console/ and ansicon: http://adoxa.110mb.com/ansicon/index.html I have to start the shell through cmd.exe to activate the ansicon, like so: cmd /c "c:\cygwin\bin\zsh.exe --login -i" the tabs in Console2 are nice, not quite screen, but still good.
