I'm not on your mailing list, my apologies.  Just wanted to let you know 
that I downloaded cygwin1-20101229.dll.bz2, and replaced 
c:/cygwin/bin/cygwin1.dll with it.

The error changed from "could not load u" to this:

1 [main] sshd 8136 C:\cygwin\usr\sbin\sshd.exe: *** fatal error - could 
not load C:\WINNT\system32\user32.dll, Win32 error 1114
