The re= ason I am doing this is so that I can assign the command to a button vs. op= ening gvim from a shell. My script works, but if I do run it from a command window it generates a st= ack dump: Exception: STATUS_GUARD_PAGE_VIOLATION at eip=3D61020137 eax=3D00D6AE10 ebx=3D6123E734 ecx=3D76620D06 edx=3D003CA3B8 esi=3D00000000 = edi=3D0028F9F8 ebp=3D61020890 esp=3D0028C7C8 program=3DC:\cygwin\bin\gvim.exe, pid 2024, t= hread main cs=3D0023 ds=3D002B es=3D002B fs=3D0053 gs=3D002B ss=3D002B Stack trace: Frame Function Args End of stack trace Gvim seems to work correctly, so I am not sure if the above is a problem or= not. It does generate a gvim.exe.stackdump file every time I run gvim, tho= ugh. This was generated with Cygwin 1.7.7-1 on Windows 7. I am using the latest = version of everything as of today. -Will -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
