The problem detail is as follows :- cygwin(dot)com/ml/cygwin/2005-02/msg00303(dot)html www(dot)cygwin(dot)com/ml/cygwin/2004-04/msg00223(dot)html As I looked into your archieves i came across a fix :- www(dot)mail-archive(dot)com/cygwin at cygwin.com/msg66723(dot)html Now I am indeed using an old cygwin version and can not update it due to dependency issues . Do you have a workaround for this problem ? As per my understanding this problem will not be seen if we limit the maximum number of threads for a process on cygwin (this will of course make it slower , but that is fine ) . Am I Correct ? If yes , how can we do it for cygwin ? Thanks for all your help.
