Send YA message to the cygwin list, ignoring any previous discussion, was not an effective way to deal with your confusion. You sent email to the right address. There are no guarantees that you will be instantly added to the mirror list. I don't get around to updating the list very often. If you persist in the need to express your confusion of the concept of sending email to somebody called "sourcemaster", I'm going to conclude that you are not technically proficient enough to maintain a mirror.
