The mvn script also sources /etc/mavenrc and ~/.mavenrc files if they exist, so it's possible that what you're seeing is the result of something running in one of them. I noticed that the path in the warning message references the boot subdirectory of the Maven installation, however, so I suspect that the problem is actually occurring either during or after the hand-off to Java to actually run the Java class used to instantiate Maven. What's the output when you run the following? $ sh -x "$(which mvn)" -version -Jeremy -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
