When I run 'uname -s' on the server machine I get CYGWIN_NT-5.2-WOW64 xxx 1.5.25(0.156/4/2) 2008-03-05 19:27 i686 Cygwin I'm not sure which version of Cygwin that is, but I think it is pre-1.7.X. Are you saying that pre-1.7.1 versions have an ssh/drive letter related bug that upgrading to 1.7.2 will fix? BTW, my SID is in the list produced by running 'reg query hku' from an ssh connection. If I can't get the drive letter to set I'll have to rewrite my makefile to look for '//yyy/zzz' instead of 'z:'. jjo -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
