Content-Disposition: inline _IS_ attached.  We never said it can't be
displayed inline, just that it shouldn't be part of the same multipart
segment as the original message.  The mail archiver indexes only content
in the first MIME segment, and as long as your attachment is in a
different segment, it does not add spurious hits to the archive search
engine.

If your mailer requires you to scroll through inline content before
getting to the next message, then maybe you need to invest time learning
more keyboard shortcuts in your mailer or using a better mailer altogether.
