This package provides man and info pages for cygwin utilities and *some* of the Cygwin api. It reflects the current state of Cygwin and newlib as of this date. Thanks to scripts created by the dearly missed Joshua Franklin, this documentation is autogenerated from Cygwin's sgml documentation and newlib's texinfo documentation. Since this is an automated conversion, I'm sure that there are some transcription errors. But, with luck, what's available is better than no updated documentation at all. There are still some things missing. For instance: "ldd" is not yet documented and the html documentation is missing. But, at least, after months of one-and-off strugging with docbook, I now have a foundation for improvement. I do hope to make regular updates as things are added or changed so it should now no longer be years between releases. *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, please use the automated form at: http://cygwin.com/lists.html#subscribe-unsubscribe If this does not work, then look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
