This is just a remainder, I sent this before to the list, but might
have gone unnoticed.
Please consider correcting the default xinetd config file.=20
I checked a src version from
http://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/sources.redhat.com/cygwin/relea=
se/xinetd/xinetd-2.3.14-1-src.tar.bz2
today, and it includes a wrong path to source the functions in=20
/etc/rc.d/init.d that affects managing the program through calls like
start/stop/reload/status/... e.g:

dawud AT win7 ~
$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd status
/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd: line 22: /etc/init.d/functions: No such
file or directory
/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd: line 136: status: command not found

This simple patch solves it:
