There might be a "shortcut" solution but that doesn't help in finding the root of the problem. In essence, your '/etc/passwd' and '/etc/group' files don't know the Windows group and user ID (SID). These files are created by '/etc/postinstall/passwd-grp.sh'. Since I don't know how to reproduce what's been reported, I can't offer anything more than WAGs at possible solutions that would cure the symptoms. But I'd prefer to see more information that would help to clarify and resolve the actual problem.
