If I unset LANG, LA= NGVAR I get extended ascii. I am using teraterm to connect via ssh. LANG=3Den_US.iso885915 LANGVAR=3Den_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE=3Den_US.UTF-8 TERM=3Dvt100 When using the same setting on RHEL4, the output seems proper. I cannot remember when the man output was last formatted correctly.
