This same configuration works in UNIX. We need to call expect from the shell script through the JSP to capture the output. Perhaps you are missing some required DLL for expect. Check the exit code after running expect. Assuming expect failed due to a missing DLL, the exit code should indicate that by being non-zero. You might try reinstalling at least expect and perhaps all other Cygwin packages.
