I followed the readme to configure both sshd and inetd as services in windo= ws. This step works fine. The sshd service works a treat and I can ssh into the vista server - brilli= ant.=20 Configured inetd.conf to start both ftp and telnet. Problem:=20 Ftp service work brilliantly - can log in happily. telnet - connects to the telnet server and nothing.=20 Example: gpayne AT nb-slogpayne ~ $ telnet localhost Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. xdfgsdhgxdfm=A2=BE=A2=BE - what ever I type is echoed on screen.=20 Definitely connecting to the telnet service, as soon as I stop inetd the te= lnet server stop listening. I have disabled the firewall / Norton. What am I missing. Driving me mad.=20 Anyone got any advice, need telnet unfortunately.=20 Thanks in advance Gareth -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
