Its a new install. To get Cygwin installed I had to uninstall Bitdefender 2010. I have left it uninstalled. I can start rxvt using both the installed short cut and this line; D:\cygwin\bin\rxvt.exe -sl 10000 -si -fg White -bg Black -cr white -fn Courier -e /bin/bash -login -i At my prompt I enter 'screen' and I get another window with no prompt. I also get no messages on either windows (the one I entered 'screen' at nor the one that just opened). The attached file includes cygcheck run against screen at the top. After that is 'cygcheck -s -v -r' I have no idea how to debug this.
