I.E.: echo "main{}" >test.c /usr/local/mysql-5/mysql-5.1.41.$ cc -O test.c test.c:1: error: expected ‘=’, ‘,’, ‘;’, ‘asm’ or ‘__attribute__’ before ‘{’ token /usr/local/mysql-5/mysql-5.1.41.$ echo "main(){}" >test.c /usr/local/mysql-5/mysql-5.1.41.$ cc -O test.c /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/4.3.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: crt0.o: No such file: No such file or directory collect2: ld returned 1 exit status My suggestion is to completely UNINSTALL C Compiler packages and restalled then. If others agree, could someome tell me which packages to uninstall? Your installation may be working, but mine isn't.
