If that wasn't clear, please send the output of the testcase *before*
you start to eliminate potential BLODAs.

Here's another thought.  There's one piece of code which is deactivated
in Cygwin 1.7, and which influences closing sockets.  I reactivated that
code (still works fine for me) and I would like you to test it as well.
Can I send you an URL to a test DLL via private email?
