Yep, sorry for the misattribution. I was actually thinking of this "[PATCH] better stackdumps" http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-patches/2008-q1/msg00082.html but I was wrong on two counts: (1) that one had nothing to do with the can't-find-my-DLLs "improvements" on Vista (2) it was proposed by Brian Dessent, not Eric.
