The /etc/group file was interesting...different than the output of mkgroup. Attached are the /etc/passwd, /etc/group and mkgroup output. The /etc/passwd file is sanitized for user and machine names. The mkpasswd outp= ut matched the /etc/passwd contents. =20 I have the installed Cygwin if there is any other useful information. =20 Thanks, =20 ...Karl =20 _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail=AE goes with you.=20 http://windowslive.com/Tutorial/Hotmail/Mobile?ocid=3DTXT_TAGLM_WL_HM_Tutor= ial_Mobile1_052009 --_5a9ab4d9-44ed-4294-bcf6-2606ec517552_ Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="passwd" U1lTVEVNOio6MTg6NTQ0OixTLTEtNS0xODo6CkxvY2FsU2VydmljZToqOjE5 OjU0NDpVLU5UIEFVVEhPUklUWVxMb2NhbFNlcnZpY2UsUy0xLTUtMTk6OgpO ZXR3b3JrU2VydmljZToqOjIwOjU0NDpVLU5UIEFVVEhPUklUWVxOZXR3b3Jr U2VydmljZSxTLTEtNS0yMDo6CkFkbWluaXN0cmF0b3JzOio6NTQ0OjU0NDos Uy0xLTUtMzItNTQ0OjoKYWRtaW5pc3RyYXRvcjp1bnVzZWQ6NTAwOjUxMzpV LUhPU1ROQU1FXGFkbWluaXN0cmF0b3IsUy0xLTUtMjEtNTc5ODk4NDEtMTM4 MzM4NDg5OC04NTQyNDUzOTgtNTAwOi9ob21lL2FkbWluaXN0cmF0b3I6L2Jp bi9iYXNoCkFTUE5FVDp1bnVzZWQ6MTAwMzo1MTM6QVNQLk5FVCBNYWNoaW5l IEFjY291bnQsVS1IT1NUTkFNRVxBU1BORVQsUy0xLTUtMjEtNTc5ODk4NDEt MTM4MzM4NDg5OC04NTQyNDUzOTgtMTAwMzovaG9tZS9BU1BORVQ6L2Jpbi9i YXNoCmd1ZXN0OnVudXNlZDo1MDE6NTEzOlUtSE9TVE5BTUVcZ3Vlc3QsUy0x LTUtMjEtNTc5ODk4NDEtMTM4MzM4NDg5OC04NTQyNDUzOTgtNTAxOi9ob21l L2d1ZXN0Oi9iaW4vYmFzaApIZWxwQXNzaXN0YW50OnVudXNlZDoxMDAwOjUx MzpSZW1vdGUgRGVza3RvcCBIZWxwIEFzc2lzdGFudCBBY2NvdW50LFUtSE9T VE5BTUVcSGVscEFzc2lzdGFudCxTLTEtNS0yMS01Nzk4OTg0MS0xMzgzMzg0 ODk4LTg1NDI0NTM5OC0xMDAwOi9ob21lL0hlbHBBc3Npc3RhbnQ6L2Jpbi9i YXNoCnVzZXIxOnVudXNlZDoxMDA0OjUxMzp1c2VyMSxVLUhPU1ROQU1FXHVz ZXIxLFMtMS01LTIxLTU3OTg5ODQxLTEzODMzODQ4OTgtODU0MjQ1Mzk4LTEw MDQ6L2hvbWUvdXNlcjE6L2Jpbi9iYXNoCnJvb3Q6dW51c2VkOjEwMTE6NTEz OnJvb3QsVS1IT1NUTkFNRVxyb290LFMtMS01LTIxLTU3OTg5ODQxLTEzODMz ODQ4OTgtODU0MjQ1Mzk4LTEwMTE6L3Zhci9lbXB0eTovYmluL2Jhc2gKdXNl cjI6dW51c2VkOjEwMDU6NTEzOnVzZXIyLFUtSE9TVE5BTUVcdXNlcjIsUy0x LTUtMjEtNTc5ODk4NDEtMTM4MzM4NDg5OC04NTQyNDUzOTgtMTAwNTovaG9t ZS91c2VyMjovYmluL2Jhc2gKc3NoZDp1bnVzZWQ6MTAwNjo1MTM6c3NoZCxV LUhPU1ROQU1FXHNzaGQsUy0xLTUtMjEtNTc5ODk4NDEtMTM4MzM4NDg5OC04 NTQyNDUzOTgtMTAwNjovZW1wdHk6L2Jpbi9iYXNoClNVUFBPUlRfMzg4OTQ1 YTA6dW51c2VkOjEwMDI6NTEzOkNOPU1pY3Jvc29mdCBDb3Jwb3JhdGlvbixM PVJlZG1vbmQsUz1XYXNoaW5ndG9uLEM9VVMsVS1IT1NUTkFNRVxTVVBQT1JU XzM4ODk0NWEwLFMtMS01LTIxLTU3OTg5ODQxLTEzODMzODQ4OTgtODU0MjQ1 Mzk4LTEwMDI6L2hvbWUvU1VQUE9SVF8zODg5NDVhMDovYmluL2Jhc2gK --_5a9ab4d9-44ed-4294-bcf6-2606ec517552_ Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="group" cm9vdDpTLTEtNS0zMi01NDQ6MDoKU1lTVEVNOlMtMS01LTE4OjE4OgpBZG1p bmlzdHJhdG9yczpTLTEtNS0zMi01NDQ6NTQ0OgpCYWNrdXAgT3BlcmF0b3Jz OlMtMS01LTMyLTU1MTo1NTE6Ckd1ZXN0czpTLTEtNS0zMi01NDY6NTQ2OgpO ZXR3b3JrIENvbmZpZ3VyYXRpb24gT3BlcmF0b3JzOlMtMS01LTMyLTU1Njo1 NTY6ClBvd2VyIFVzZXJzOlMtMS01LTMyLTU0Nzo1NDc6ClJlbW90ZSBEZXNr dG9wIFVzZXJzOlMtMS01LTMyLTU1NTo1NTU6ClJlcGxpY2F0b3I6Uy0xLTUt MzItNTUyOjU1MjoKVXNlcnM6Uy0xLTUtMzItNTQ1OjU0NToKSGVscFNlcnZp Y2VzR3JvdXA6Uy0xLTUtMjEtNTc5ODk4NDEtMTM4MzM4NDg5OC04NTQyNDUz OTgtMTAwMToxMDAxOgpOb25lOlMtMS01LTIxLTU3OTg5ODQxLTEzODMzODQ4 OTgtODU0MjQ1Mzk4LTUxMzo1MTM6Cg== --_5a9ab4d9-44ed-4294-bcf6-2606ec517552_ Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="mkgroup" U1lTVEVNOlMtMS01LTE4OjE4OgpBZG1pbmlzdHJhdG9yczpTLTEtNS0zMi01 NDQ6NTQ0OgpCYWNrdXAgT3BlcmF0b3JzOlMtMS01LTMyLTU1MTo1NTE6Ckd1 ZXN0czpTLTEtNS0zMi01NDY6NTQ2OgpOZXR3b3JrIENvbmZpZ3VyYXRpb24g T3BlcmF0b3JzOlMtMS01LTMyLTU1Njo1NTY6ClBvd2VyIFVzZXJzOlMtMS01 LTMyLTU0Nzo1NDc6ClJlbW90ZSBEZXNrdG9wIFVzZXJzOlMtMS01LTMyLTU1 NTo1NTU6ClJlcGxpY2F0b3I6Uy0xLTUtMzItNTUyOjU1MjoKVXNlcnM6Uy0x LTUtMzItNTQ1OjU0NToKSGVscFNlcnZpY2VzR3JvdXA6Uy0xLTUtMjEtNTc5 ODk4NDEtMTM4MzM4NDg5OC04NTQyNDUzOTgtMTAwMToxMDAxOgpOb25lOlMt MS01LTIxLTU3OTg5ODQxLTEzODMzODQ4OTgtODU0MjQ1Mzk4LTUxMzo1MTM6 Cg== --_5a9ab4d9-44ed-4294-bcf6-2606ec517552_ Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ --_5a9ab4d9-44ed-4294-bcf6-2606ec517552_--
