I downloaded rhsetup.exe to start. I requested install via the internet, and it died somewhere along the line. I then tried again, requesting download instead. I now have about 120 folders in my download folder for cygwin. I don't see any indication it installed. I was expecting some (exe) install program somewhere. Maybe it installed. However, I see no trace of anything on the Win Start->All Prog menu of its existence, nor do I see an icon on my desktop. Looking at the folder where the download took place, I see a top level folder called ...\ftp%3a%2f%2fftp.ges.redhat.com%2fprivate%2freleng%2fcygwin-latest There are two files: setup.log and setup.log.full The last lines in setup.log are: 2009/04/18 23:54:35 note: Download Complete 2009/04/18 23:54:35 Ending cygwin install The last lines in ...log.full are: 2009/04/18 23:54:35 note: Download Complete 2009/04/18 23:54:35 Ending cygwin instal Below folder ftp%... is the release folder.
