The problem occurs if one has $HOME elements with spaces in them. You get a message about invalid "if" syntax. 37 38 if ($?_complete) then 39 set noglob 40 if ( ! $?hosts ) set hosts 41 foreach f ("$HOME/.hosts" /usr/local/etc/csh.hosts "$HOME/.rhosts" /etc/hosts. quiv) 42 if ( -r "$f" ) then 43 set hosts = ($hosts `grep -v "+" "$f" | grep -E -v "^#" | tr -s " " " " | cut -f 1`) 44 endif 45 end This problem comes up periodically with various /etc/profile.d files. I just updated cygwin yesterday and encountered it again here. Hope this helps get a fix deployed... -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
