This is a packaging update. [[ compiled using gcc-3.4.4-3/-mno-cygwin ]] This will most likely be the final mingw-zlib update for the cygwin-1.5 distribution; future development will continue with mingw-zlib-1.2.3-10 for cygwin-1.7. Technically, since this is a "mingw" package, there's nothing cygwin-1.5 or cygwin-1.7-specific about it, except for the packaging tool used and the layout of documentation. CHANGES since 1.0.5-2 ======================== o build with stock cygport 0.4.3 o compile using __USE_MINGW_ANSI_STDIO (avoids possible buffer overrun exploit). o Split base package into doc and devel components. -- Charles Wilson volunteer mingw-bzip2 maintainer for cygwin ==================================================================== To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions. *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
