Libtool hides the complexity of using shared libraries behind a consistent, portable interface. This is a bugfix and feature enhancement update. Unless there are serious issues with this package, it is likely to be the last version of libtool released for cygwin-1.5. Future development will continue with libtool-2.2.7a-10 for cygwin-1.7. Changes since libtool-2.2.6a-1 ================================= o Update to latest git development + plus fixes for several cygwin-specific issues = cwrapper should now work in unix->cygwin cross-compile environments = Updated version of previous fix for -dlpreopen when --disable-static + includes some patches from pr-msvc development branch o No longer includes the LT_OUTPUT patch from Yaakov Selkowitz http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2008-04/msg00378.html but the _LT_DECL_OBJDUMP is now included upstream. Test results -- old tests: All 113 tests passed 2 tests were not run Test results -- new tests: 78 tests behaved as expected. 8 tests were skipped.
