'course it could be *real* subtle... ;) The third bulleted item under "Reporting guidelines" at the multiply-mentioned problems web page is actually *bolded*: # Run cygcheck -s -v -r > cygcheck.out and include that file as an attachment in your report. Please do not compress or otherwise encode the output. Just attach it as a straight text file so that it can be easily viewed. cygcheck will tell you what version you have installed and could provide information for finding out why cygpath is behaving differently for you.
