Woo - this gets more fascinating as the days progress.  I'm now installing
fftw3 from one of the Cygwin mirrors.  Slightly off-topic but can anyone
explain why (when I install anything) it starts off by uninstalling a whole
ton of stuff but it then seems to re-install it all again at the end?
