It's a little weird to edit a crontab at 15:42 when the command runs once per day at 15:43 The crontab will be reloaded at 15:43 but I am not sure if the command will run immediately or the next day. We have no idea of why you think there is an error, nor of what "/cygdrive/d/automation/old/daily_script.tcl 192.168.18.106 /cygdrive/d/rel-19-aug-2008/GSDemo/dist open > /cygdrive/d/automation/old/cron.l " is supposed to achieve. Look for clues in $HOME/cron.log. Also test with a simple command first, running every minute.
