As soon as I do this, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, which can track applications as well as network activity, informs me that the following unix bin commands are run: bash, id, chmod, tr, hostname, find, sort, echo, grep, uname, and regtool. When it happened the first time I could have sworn it was regedit instead of regtool. I am assuming that what I am seeing is OK, but I think I will dig down and see what the bash related scripts are doing....its starting to come back to me now....its been several years since I used UNIX...
