I have to apologize here because I just found the email from postmaster sitting in my outbound mail queue. So the OP only had the multiple off-topic bounce messages as a clue that something was wrong. They never received my specific directive to send the email to the cygwin-xfree mailing list. So the harshness of my reply was unwarranted.
