Almost. See the patch attached at http://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=31792 I'm not sure if that's worth a seperate package and how it should be named, because we already have the x version without the -x suffix. Let me test it more carefully first. The eventloop seems to be broken at the first glance.
