Just tested it. It's not true. I compiled my program with "gcc -o /bin/myrun.exe -mwindows" and executed "c:\cygwin\bin\myrun.exe /bin/sleep 60" from Windows Explorer. No console window and sleep.exe runs. Also "c:\cygwin\bin\myrun.exe /bin/rxvt" works as expected. No console window. --------------enig139BF83107AF29972A8EFB18 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (Cygwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHhqw17Ww7FjRBE4ARAn9MAJ44oPur7PSKcEEc2vGA94Dew/qi7QCbBVRR u6wUOm+zNjuqyMxhgG83FPE= =2/mo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig139BF83107AF29972A8EFB18--
