How do you feel about temporarily uninstalling and reinstalling ZA in order to see if it's interfering with cygwin? It's been a known source of problems in the past; in particular, the full pro version (which has more features and installs more hooks into the O/S) seems to cause problems quite commonly, where the free version (which is firewall-only) hardly ever if at all causes trouble. On the other hand, un-and-re-installing it is a bit of a PITA, and unfortunately, it's not possible to tell easily whether it will help or not (just temporarily disabling or shutting down ZA is normally not sufficient to stop it interfering, the DLLs and drivers it installs have to actually be deinstalled from the system), so you might want to see if any other suggestions work first before you take the drastic course of action. cheers, DaveK -- Can't think of a witty .sigline today.... -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
