For some reason I can't reproduce this. I tried the above order of calls under 1.5.24, 1.5.25 as well as under current CVS HEAD. In all three cases it worked fine. This isn't exactly a 1.5.25 problem since under some circumstances it also fails under 1.5.24 and HEAD but it appears to be a very difficult problem.
