The EventLog library aims to be a replacement of the simple syslog() API provided on UNIX systems. The major difference between EventLog and syslog is that EventLog tries to add structure to messages. The reason for uploading this package is mainly that syslog-ng needs this package for building, starting with syslog-ng version 2.0. See the files under usr/share/doc/eventlog-0.2.5 for a description how to use this library in your own projects. *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
