I have tried to contact Red Hat but they did not seem interested in offering support for the type of problem I have (or perhaps I didn't reach the right person...). It is described in the cygwin list: http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2007-02/msg00023.html http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2007-08/msg00468.html http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2007-08/msg00517.html Some people helped, but it was not enough to solve the problem.
