A ls stackdump looks like this: > Stack trace: > Frame Function Args > 0022C388 7C802532 (00000734, 0000EA60, 000000A4, 0022C3D0) > 0022C4A8 6109773C (00000000, 00000000, 7C91E9FF, 7C810DF6) > 0022C598 610952BB (00000000, 003B0023, 00230000, 00000000) > 0022C5F8 6109579B (0022C610, 00000000, 00000094, 610A0EAA) > 0022C6B8 61095952 (0000035C, 00000006, 0022C6E8, 61095B52) > 0022C6C8 6109597C (00000006, 600301DC, 611682E8, 00000000) > 0022C6E8 61095B52 (0022C6C8, 0022C740, 0022CE68, 01C7DE36) > 9 [sig] ls 860 C:\cygwin\bin\ls.exe: *** fatal error - called with threadlist_ix -1 $ ls --version ls (GNU coreutils) 6.9 Any ideas how to circumvent this problem without downgrading to 1.5.20-1? The OS is Windows XP, but the current version works fine with on another box running XP. I could send a more detailed report on my environment via PM to some specific person if required. Could a clean install help? I currently don't have too much spare time to deal with this.
