I compile with `-fprofile-arcs -ftest-coverage` and link with `-lgcov` yet I get undefined references to `___gcov_init' and `___gcov_merge_add'. I see that somebody else on the mailing lists had trouble doing this a while back but he was never answered. Gcov works fine when not making a DLL though using `-mno-cygwin` produces a version mismatch.
