With SETUP: unselect "Hide obsolete packages" in "Category" view, click on "Default" of "_obsolete" until "Uninstall" appears next But SETUP says that there are NOT obsolete packages that need obsolete: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Package: atk-runtime Required by: gail, libbonoboui2, libglade2, libgnomeui2, libgnomeui2-doc, libgtkhtml2, libwnck1_18, pygtk2 Package: clear Required by: tetex-bin Package: glib2-runtime Required by: atk, desktop-file-utils, libbonoboui2, libglade2, libgnomeprint22, pygtk2 Package: libxml2-python Required by: pylibxslt Package: pkgconfig Required by: perl-ExtUtils-PkgConfig -------------------------------------------------------------------- So the question is: Why NOT obsolete packages need obsolete ? Perhaps they are not so obsolete...
