Your reference has the following: There is a comprehensive Cygwin User's Guide at http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/cygwin-ug-net.html and an API Reference at http://cygwin.com/cygwin-api/cygwin-api.html. As mentioned in previous postings, notice the word comprehensive. The manual is not so comprehensive if it doesn't describe how to set up services like cron (especially since cron is such a common Unix/Linux service). It would have been nice if I had read that.
