This is not a newsgroup.  It is a mailing list.  The fact that you read
it through a mail-to-news gateway does not change this fact, nor does it
change the fact that X11 is off topic here because there is a whole
separate mailing list for that.  You should send your question to
cygwin-xfree<at>cygwin.com.  All of the Cygwin mailing lists are
documented and described here: <http://cygwin.com/lists.html>.
