NEWS: ===== This is a new upstream release. Upstream changes are as follows: * A number of improvements have been made to the Vim syntax highlighter, for example the word C++ is no longer mistaken for the start of an unconstrained monospace quote. * Labeled list definitions have been tightened — a list label can no longer containing trailing spaces. The following example is no longer recognized as a valid list label: Lorum ipsum :: This change implements the originally intended behavior (as per the AsciiDoc documentation and examples) so there should be very few compatibility issues. See also the package documentation in /usr/share/doc/asciidoc-8.2.1/. DESCRIPTION: ============ AsciiDoc is a text document format for writing short documents, articles, books and UNIX man pages. AsciiDoc files can be translated to HTML and DocBook markups using the asciidoc(1) command. AsciiDoc is highly configurable: both the AsciiDoc source file syntax and the backend output markups (which can be almost any type of SGML/XML markup) can be customized and extended by the user.
