Burning them is secondary at the moment, but this looks entirely possible too. To that end I've downloaded cdrtools, de-tar'd it and then ran make and got a "hang" on ... "checking if we may not define our own malloc()..." And that's it. Nothing else. I read that smake is recommended by the author of cdrtools, so I downloaded that and ran make and got the same "hang". Are there Win32 binaries I can download for cdrtools or a Cygwin package I can somehow add. Or can anyone give me a hand? Regards, Richard Quadling. P.S. If I'm in the wrong place, sorry. P.P.S. I've never compiled anything on Cygwin and I'm only following the instructions which basically say download, unpack and make. P.P.P.S. Please be nice, I'm a nearly 40 year old man who nearly has no hair. -- ----- Richard Quadling Zend Certified Engineer : http://zend.com/zce.php?c=ZEND002498&r=213474731 "Standing on the shoulders of some very clever giants!" -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
