For example the following script: use threads; sub thr_func { $SIG{'KILL'} = sub { die("Thread killed\n"); }; while (1) {} } my $thr = threads->create('thr_func'); $thr->kill('KILL')->detach(); Errors out with: Can't locate auto/threads/kill.al in @INC (@INC contains: ...) at ./test.pl line 22 A thread exited while 2 threads were running. After installing the newest threads module from CPAN (v1.57, http://search.cpan.org/~jdhedden/threads-1.57/), everything works fine. I believe, the cygwin distribution still uses an outdated threads module. Has anybody else experienced this problem?
