Looks like Altera may be http://cygwin.com/acronyms#3PP HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin\mounts v2 C__altera_quartus60_bin_cygwin_bin_cygwin1_dll Check for a stray copy in the altera quartus bin dir, and rename it to something else.
